A month-long celebration of Spanish food, wine and the pleasure of sharing both
For one month this spring, Spain is coming to the table across Australia.
From 4 September to 4 October 2026, Eat Spain Drink Spain will make its Australian debut, bringing Spanish food, wine and culinary culture to restaurants, bars and retailers around the country through special menus, tastings, pairings and events.
At the centre of it all is the way Spain eats: generously, socially and with great produce doing much of the talking. Jamón, preserved seafood, extra virgin olive oil, pimentón, Sherry vinegar, wines shaped by the Atlantic and Mediterranean, and recipes built on generations of technique will all have their place throughout the month.
For Sydney diners, it is a chance to experience Spanish gastronomy through the venues that cook, pour and share it every day.
Eat Spain Drink Spain at Percy
At Percy, Spanish flavours are already part of the conversation. Inspired by the pintxos and tapas bars of Spain, Percy brings together plates made for sharing, a wine list with a strong Spanish focus, and the kind of easygoing dining that rarely ends with just one dish.
Throughout Eat Spain Drink Spain, Percy is bringing a little extra Spanish flavour to the week with a trio of $15 specials designed for an easy drink, a quick bite or a longer evening around the table.
$15 Paella Fridays & Saturdays
Fridays and Saturdays are for paella. Settle in at Percy and enjoy a $15 paella special, made for easing into the weekend with something warm, generous and distinctly Spanish.
$15 Cocktails Tuesday to Saturday
Raise a glass to the celebration with a $15 cocktail special, available Tuesday to Saturday throughout the campaign. Come for one before dinner, pair it with a few tapas, or let it be the start of a longer night at Percy.
$15 Miljohas Tuesday to Saturday
Save room for something sweet. Percy’s $15 Miljohas layers crisp puff pastry with whipped Basque cheesecake and sour cherries, bringing together richness, crunch and a little tartness to finish. Available Tuesday to Saturday throughout Eat Spain Drink Spain.

One month of Spanish food and wine deserves a proper send-off.
On 4 October, Percy will close out Eat Spain Drink Spain with an afternoon built around the things it does best: freshly prepared paella, Spanish tapas, cocktails and plenty to share around the table. It is a final chance to gather, eat well and raise a glass to a month celebrating the flavours, ingredients and traditions that make Spanish dining so distinctive.
Expect an indulgent afternoon, a lively room and a few very good reasons to stay for another round.

Turn the celebration into a night in Sydney and book a room at Hotel Woolstore. After paella, tapas and cocktails at Percy, head upstairs to a hotel shaped by its 1888 woolstore heritage, where original character meets a more contemporary side of Pyrmont.
There is no need to rush home once the last glass is poured. Settle in for the night, wander down to Darling Harbour if the mood takes you, then wake slowly and let breakfast become the final chapter of your Eat Spain Drink Spain escape.
