Warm air, harbour views and music that makes it impossible to sit still. Every Friday night, Palm Grove at Darling Harbour transforms into an open-air dance floor as Latin rhythms take over the waterfront.
Just a short walk 7 minute stroll from Hotel Woolstore 1888, you can join Sydney’s most infectious weekly celebration of salsa, bachata, mambo and everything in between. No dress code. No pressure. Just good music, friendly faces and a night that feels like a holiday.
How the night unfolds
- 6:00pm Arrive early, soak in the energy
- 6:15pm Free dance lesson with some of Sydney’s top Latin schools
- 7:00pm Social dancing kicks off with leading Latin DJs
- 7:30pm Live performances from Sydney’s finest dancers
- 8:00pm – 10:00pm Bands and live beats to carry you late into the evening
Maybe it’s date night. Maybe it’s catching up with friends. Maybe it’s stepping out of your comfort zone just enough to surprise yourself. Whatever brings you there, Latin Nights is where the weekend begins with a little extra fire.

Before or after the moves
With Darling Harbour’s bars and restaurants right beside the dance floor, you can pair the night with alfresco drinks or a bite to eat before heading back along the water to your room in Pyrmont.
